1. Flexible space expansion
Greatly increase the usable area
After the wings are unfolded to both sides, the internal space of the box can be expanded by 30%-80% (depending on the design). For example, the RV can add bedrooms, living rooms or kitchen areas after expansion, and the container can be turned into a temporary office or shop after expansion.
Typical scenario: When camping in an RV, unfolding the wings can turn the narrow compartment into a spacious living space to meet the needs of multiple people.
Folding compact, easy to transport
When not unfolded, the wings fit the main body of the box, and the overall size is consistent with the standard box (such as a 20-foot container), which is convenient for road, rail transportation or hoisting, saving transportation costs.
2. Structural design features
Symmetrical double-wing structure
The expansion structures on both sides are symmetrically distributed and driven to unfold by hydraulic, electric or manual devices to ensure balance and stability. Some high-end products are equipped with intelligent control systems to complete expansion/recovery with one click.
High-strength frame
The main frame is made of aluminum alloy, steel or composite materials, and the expansion wing usually has a lightweight support structure (such as trusses, rails) inside to ensure the load-bearing capacity after unfolding (such as the RV expansion wing can bear furniture and equipment).
Key parameters: Some industrial expansion boxes can bear a load of 500-1000 kg per wing.
Sealing and waterproof design
Rubber sealing strips and waterproof strips are used at the joints, and the overall sealing process of the box body is used to meet the IP54-IP65 waterproof level and adapt to outdoor rain and snow environments.

Material
Frame: Usually Q235 galvanized frame structure is adopted, such as galvanized high-strength square tube, galvanized angle iron and other light steel materials, and the surface is electrostatically powder-coated, which has good strength, corrosion resistance and rust resistance.
Wallboard: Common ones are 50mm/75mm thick EPS sandwich panels, and there are also materials such as anti-corrosion double-sided color steel composite panels, which have insulation, heat insulation, sound insulation and other properties.
Structural design
Connection method: The main box and the two wing boxes are connected by folding and bolting, and the frames are connected by high-strength hinges. The structure is simple and the installation is convenient and fast.
Expansion method: The wings are driven to unfold or fold by hydraulic or manual devices. Some high-end products are equipped with intelligent control systems, which can realize one-key expansion or recovery.

Doors and windows: Usually equipped with a set of dry board doors, windows can be selected from plastic steel windows, aluminum alloy windows, broken bridge aluminum windows, etc., and the number depends on the size and design of the box.
Water and electricity system: A full set of integrated power systems, electrical products comply with CE certification and other relevant standards. Some products also integrate water systems, including water pipes, faucets, etc., to meet basic water needs.
Others: Indoor floors can be made of SPC stone plastic flooring, patterned aluminum plates, etc., or hollow bottoms can be cast on-site to lay cement floors and floor tiles. It may also be equipped with circuit facilities such as lighting, sockets, switches, and decorative components such as skirting and corner lines.
